Sweat can clog the pores and can cause the acne to get worse, but a quick shower can always remove it, and this should not be a reason to stop exercising. Exercise reduces stress, which is also considered a factor that causes adult acne. A jog or a long walk can make your skin glow and can help to get rid of the adult acne.

Stress produces a higher production of cortisol and this can cause the acne to occur. The cortisol is also an ingredient in caffeine and therefore should be avoided when you are suffering from adult acne. Make sure that the products you use for the acne do not irritate the skin further. Natural products are the best, especially those that contain Tea Tree oil. This oil has antibacterial properties that will benefit the treatment of acne. Avoid meat and dairy products as they increase the toxicity in the body by the production of acids during their digestion. You should avoid stress and do not take caffeine, meat or dairy products.
